If your favorite part of being a Director of Nursing was making other nurses better, this role was built for you. You'll partner with DONs and clinical teams across multiple skilled nursing and senior living communities β leading hands-on training, running clinical reviews and audits, and keeping every community solid on state and federal compliance while helping them hit their quality and budgetary goals. Most of all, you'll mentor new nurse leaders into confident, capable DONs and serve as a trusted thought partner from the floor to the corporate suite. It's a road-warrior role (travel up to 70%), so it's perfect for an RN who's energized by being on the move. You'll bring an active RN license (Nebraska or eligible), 10+ years in skilled nursing or senior living, 5+ years as a DON, sharp communication that builds trust fast, and a genuine passion for senior care. If that sounds like your next chapter, we'd love to talk.
Regional Assisted Living Consultant (RN)
If you know assisted living from the inside β the regulations, the rhythms, the daily details that keep a community running right β this role puts that expertise to work across more than one. You'll own the nursing function for multiple AL communities in Nebraska: building and maintaining resident care plans, overseeing medication management and narcotic counts, keeping med aide competencies current, and managing schedules, training, and day-to-day clinical oversight. You'll be the standard-setter who makes sure every community stays compliant, consistent, and ready for whatever the day brings β and the steady resource your nursing staff and med aides count on. You'll bring an active Nebraska RN license, deep knowledge of assisted living regulations and operations, and the kind of organized, hands-on leadership that keeps multiple sites running smoothly at once. If you're an RN who loves the operational side of senior care and wants real ownership across a region, we'd love to talk.
ICD 10 Nurse Specialist (RN)
If you're the nurse people come to when a diagnosis doesn't add up, this role makes that your whole job. As our organization-wide ICD-10 subject matter expert, you'll review and audit skilled and non-skilled admissions, diagnosis sheets, physician orders, and therapy documentation β making sure every diagnosis is accurate, clinically supported, and properly sequenced. You'll spot the patterns behind billing errors, RTPs, and claim denials and help eliminate them at the source, partnering closely with Billing and Financial Services to protect appropriate reimbursement. Just as important, you'll coach and educate clinical and interdisciplinary teams, drive documentation improvements, and stay ahead of every annual ICD-10 update β all in a collaborative, respectful culture that genuinely values continuous improvement. You'll bring an active RN license (Nebraska or eligible), strong ICD-10 coding knowledge, a solid grasp of skilled nursing, senior living operations, and Medicare reimbursement, and sharp attention to detail (MDS coordination or RAI experience is a big plus). This is a full-time role based at our Omaha corporate office with light travel β up to 10% β to communities. If you love getting the details right and helping others do the same, we'd love to talk.
